How Telegram scam flags work
The red SCAM / FAKE label is applied by Telegram’s own moderation after enough user reports — and removed only on appeal via the @notoscam bot, so it changes rarely. scammers.tg mirrors that official flag with a date, and lets the community report and discuss suspicious accounts before any official action. Two clearly separated layers: Telegram’s verdict, and users’ opinions.
